At Insight Education, our 24 years of experience in college admissions counseling, coupled with our mastery of academic tutoring and the Insight Method, give our students the best possible preparation for standardized tests like the SAT, the ACT, and their academic subjects. Our test prep and tutoring philosophy takes into full account the college admissions method employed by colleges instead of simply pushing kids to get the highest possible score at any and all costs.
Insight Test Prep Classes
With regularly scheduled full-length diagnostic exams and subsequent review, students will become more comfortable with the target exam and garner an increasing level of confidence that will help them succeed when they take the real test.
What distinguishes Insight Test Prep?
- Practical test-taking skills and strategies
- Bridging gaps in content and conceptual knowledge on a subject by subject basis
- Learning from errors and from correct answers (Why did I eliminate the correct answer?)
- Diagnostic practice tests & instructor review
- Critical thinking and analysis skills
- Anxiety management exercises
- Pushing our students to excel, meeting and exceeding their potential
Who teaches Insight’s class & tutoring students?
Our instructors all hold at least a conferred undergraduate degree or higher. We seek out only experienced instructors who are experts in their subject areas. In order to confirm their abilities, all of our instructors must take one or more diagnostic exams during the hiring process. Once they are hired, we train our instructors and prepare them to teach to the Insight Method.
Insight One-on-One
Our private tutoring option is suited to students who are very busy and therefore cannot squeeze in a structured class or boot camp. It is also great for students who prefer personalized attention and tactical guidance suited to their specific strengths and weaknesses.
