WACAC: Western Association for College Admissions Counseling
Each year, the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling hosts a conference for college admissions counselors to meet and discuss trends and topics to improve the ever growing task for helping students gain admittance to college. The association is made up of independent counselors, high school counselors, college admissions reps and a community of people who work in these industries.
Insight Education Counselors and team attended the conference, held in Visalia in mid June 2017. We are proud members of WACAC and enjoy the teamwork and learning opportunities that we gain. A highlight of the conference is the college fair, where we meet one-on-one with college admissions reps to ask all the hard hitting questions on behalf of our students that are navigating the college admissions process.
